Chocolate chip malted-milk cookies recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup malted milk powder
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, beat together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar using an electric mixer until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  5. Stir in the vanilla extract and malted milk powder.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
  7. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  8. Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing the cookies 2-3 inches apart.
  9. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the centers are set.
  10. Remove from oven and let it cool for 2-3 minutes on the baking sheet, then transfer the cookies to a wire rack to cool completely.
  11. Serve and enjoy!
