Chocolate chip malted-milk cookies recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup malted milk powder
- 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a large bowl, beat together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar using an electric mixer until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Stir in the vanilla extract and malted milk powder.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing the cookies 2-3 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the centers are set.
- Remove from oven and let it cool for 2-3 minutes on the baking sheet, then transfer the cookies to a wire rack to cool completely.
