1 1/2 pounds ground beef
1 onion, finely chopped
1 cup breadcrumbs
1/2 cup milk
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 cup ketchup
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, onion, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, paprika, and cayenne pepper. Mix well with your hands until everything is evenly combined.
Transfer the meat mixture to a 9x5-inch loaf pan and spread it out evenly. Brush the top of the meatloaf with ketchup.
Bake the meatloaf for 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C). Let the meatloaf rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Serve the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and green beans for a classic comfort meal.
