Mummified slugs recipe

Ingredients
- 75g milk chocolate
- 8 medjool dates
- 1 x tube white chocolate writing icing
- 16 currants
Directions
- In a heatproof bowl, melt the milk chocolate over a pan of just simmering water. Insert a skewer through one end of each date before rolling it in melted chocolate. Freeze for 20 minutes or until set on a baking sheet.
- On the front of each chocolate-covered date, draw two little circles of white chocolate writing icing for eyes, and a currant in the middle for pupils.
- To make the dates look like bandages, use white chocolate writing icing strips.
This meal is best consumed on a special occasion or as a treat as part of a balanced diet.
