Sausage and kale pizzas recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 (1 lb) ball of pizza dough
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 4 cooked Italian sausages, sliced
  • 1 cup chopped kale
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 500°F (or as high as your oven will go). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven to preheat as well.
  2. On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough to your desired thickness and shape.
  3. Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border for the crust.
  4. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
  5. Add the sliced sausages and chopped kale to the pizza, then sprinkle with red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and pepper.
  6. Transfer the pizza to the preheated pizza stone or a baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Repeat with the remaining dough and toppings, if desired.
  8. Serve the pizzas hot and enjoy!
