Sausage and kale pizzas recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 (1 lb) ball of pizza dough
- 1/2 cup tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 4 cooked Italian sausages, sliced
- 1 cup chopped kale
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 500°F (or as high as your oven will go). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven to preheat as well.
- On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough to your desired thickness and shape.
- Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border for the crust.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
- Add the sliced sausages and chopped kale to the pizza, then sprinkle with red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and pepper.
- Transfer the pizza to the preheated pizza stone or a baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Repeat with the remaining dough and toppings, if desired.
- Serve the pizzas hot and enjoy!
